Josef Koschier Passed Away
Salzburg, November 13, 2024 – Company founder Josef Koschier passed away today after a brief illness at the age of 78 in his hometown of Salzburg.
Born on March 18, 1946, in Dorfgastein, Josef Koschier began his film career in 1968, working on the set of Where Eagles Dare with Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood. Before founding his own production company, SK-Film, in 1990, Koschier contributed to numerous national and international film projects and served as Managing Director of the Salzburg State Theater.
Josef Koschier dedicated his life to filmmaking with great passion and left a lasting impact on the Austrian film industry, particularly through his international co-productions, which brought him widespread recognition.
